RECOVERY AT A GLANCE
Elliott, a business owner and father from Melbourne, describes how chronic fatigue syndrome reduced his energy, affected his work and limited the way he could engage with his young children.
He explains what he believes contributed to the onset of the illness, why he committed closely to ANS REWIRE, and how he gradually returned to normal work, family and physical activity.

Hello everyone, um, my name is Elliott. I'm from Melbourne and just wanted to record this testimonial because Dan's program has categorically helped me get better from chronic fatigue syndrome.
Elliott’s Symptoms and Reduced Capacity
I had a mild form of it, but still I had it. I wasn't incapacitated, I wasn't bedridden, but I was very fatigued. My symptoms were general tiredness.
I had very sore eyes and tired eyes, like red eyes almost, and I had a sore throat a lot of the time, brain fog, sort of depression, but not full blown depression, but just down and out really, no energy, and I had, uh, like shaky or fatigued arms, was one, symptom as well, sort of like after you've done a big set of weights and your arms are sort of weak and shaky a bit.
And that's the way that I would be able to describe it.I was ill from, uh, June, sorry, July 2016 to September, October 2017.
What Elliott Believes Triggered His Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
Basically, my general journey was I was pushing hard. I'm an alpha type person. I was pushing hard and everything for years. I basically didn't switch off my brain for four or five years. Even when I was on holidays, I was reading and constantly thinking about how to improve my business, how to do improve my life, improve myself, just constantly, on the go in terms of, energy and mindset.
Then when I was, I pushed myself really hard for a marathon physically, and another physical, exercise that I was doing. And, then I got hand, foot and mouth from my son, and that was the trigger as well as the exercise, and initially I thought I had glandular fever, which I had from 2008, and, but it wasn't really that.
And, although the, the test came back similar to that, and then in general for another three or four months, I just thought rest would get rid of it, but it didn't.
Committing to ANS REWIRE and Seeing Gradual Improvement
I found Dan, went through his, his program, and just, I'm a pretty disciplined person, so I followed all of the recommendations. I did every lecture.
I did everything. And it's, it's, it's a categorical way to get better. It's an out and out way to get better. You just follow it and you do it. And, you might not get a hundred percent better immediately, but you'll definitely show improvement. I was probably 50 percent better after three months. And then in the last month really got a lot better.
I was gradually getting better now, almost. Like 18, 19 months after I've had it. Um, I'm basically a hundred percent. I still get a little bit of symptoms sometimes, but I'm basically a hundred percent and I just keep going back to Dan stuff.
Returning to Work, Family Life and Normal Activity
The impact on my life was, when I had that was really, I couldn't really do much work.
I was in a fortunate situation where I could pass off, I own my own business. So I could pass off my work to my partner and they did most of the work. Important decisions I would still get involved in, but I really had only a certain amount of energy for myself to do the recommendations that Dan suggested.
And then, my family, cause I've got two young kids as well. So, that's basically what I spend my time doing. I really cut out everything else. I couldn't really do anything else anyway, but um really cut it cut out everything else and really just focused on those things. So I was just thinking about the actual Impact on my life when I had it because I had it over summer In 2016, 17, and now it's I'm better.
And I'm over 2017, 18. And the difference over the summer period, it was just stuck. Like I would wake up when I was sick and I would be moping around and just low energy. And my wife couldn't understand it. She was getting upset. This was when I was sick and I couldn't do anything with the kids and I couldn't really go to the beach or anything that we were doing.
And if I was, I wasn't really present and I was just struggling. And then this year I was energetic. I was wrestling with the kids. I was playing, I was going out into the beach. I was going on the standup pedal board. You know, I'm basically, you know, I'm, I'm a hundred percent normal now. So, uh, it was a, and I just, I just think that was a good start contrast for, um, for, you know, to, to let everyone know.
That was my experience. It did take a toll on my wife, definitely and it just, yeah, she was amazing throughout the whole process, but she, because it's such a slow burning candle, it, uh, you know, she thinks you're better and then you're not better and she doesn't understand it because she hasn't gone through it, but she was absolutely fabulous and supported me the whole time and really almost never complained about anything and she knew that I was helping and she was awesome and that was great.
Why Elliott Chose to Focus on One Recovery Approach
But then when I found Dan's program, I told her about it, I committed to it, and that was, and that's what I did. There are other programs out there, but, Dan, I like Dan's method because it's more, it's a slow release of the information, and it really covers everything and gives answers to everything.
And, at the same time, I was seeing another person. Um, but I stopped seeing that other person because it was a bit conflicting and I just wanted to focus on one philosophy to get me better. So for those of you who are thinking about enrolling in the ANS REWIRE program, firstly, definitely do it. It is definitely 100 percent real and is definitely inexpensive, completely inexpensive compared to other symptom treating, philosophies out there.
This is not a symptom treating philosophy. This is a cause treating philosophy.
Elliott’s Advice for People Considering ANS REWIRE
And if you're thinking about signing up, just do it. It's 500 bucks or 400 bucks or whatever it is. And it's actually irrelevant to you and in terms of money, but in terms of health and well being, it is infinite. So, and not only did I use his techniques through when I had my illness to when I got better, I use them now., I use all of the techniques now or most of them and you will as well. And it's just great general knowledge about life in general. And you should definitely sign up now.
