Eyvonne, from Cork in Ireland, says she became ill with COVID in 2020 and was diagnosed with post-COVID POTS about 12 months later. Over the following years she experienced head pressure, headaches, fatigue, brain fog, palpitations, chest pain and dizziness. By the period immediately before ANS REWIRE, she says she had no energy, was no longer functioning normally, struggled with walking and found it difficult to look after her family in the way she wanted.

From COVID in 2020 to a Post-COVID POTS Diagnosis
Hi, my name is Eyvonne I am from Ireland , a city called Cork. I'm an SNA. I work in a special school. I got ill in 2020 with COVID and 12 months later I was diagnosed with, post COVID POTS. I struggled for three years, with COVID and came across the ANS program, you know, I had tried lots of other things and I think, I, I listened to a long Covid podcast and I came across, a lady speaking about the ANS REWIRE program and I decided to give it a go. and it was the best decision I ever made because here I am. I started the program last year in, in, October, November.
Returning to Energy, Exercise and Everyday Life
And here I am now, and I am a hundred percent healthy and happy and, I won't say quite back to myself because I, I don't think, that was, you know, I'm just a whole different person and with lots of energy to, meet everyone's expectations and my own and exercising, and just living life to the full again.Yeah, the, the, the impact this, ANS REWIRE program has had on my life has just been massive.
The Symptoms That Made Daily Life Difficult
Before the program, I, I had no energy. My symptoms, I had like my symptoms were head pressure, headaches, fatigue, brain fog, palpitations, chest pain, dizziness. I just wasn't able to function, anymore. and I suppose leading up to the program, I, I went on holidays with my husband, for our anniversary, and, you know, coming back from that, I just really, we, we, I would have listened to, this lady talking on the, long Covid podcast about the ANS REWIRE program and I knew. I couldn't keep going the way I was going because I just wasn't, you know, living, you know, I wasn't able for anything, for walking, for, you know, looking after my family.
I have, I have, I have three kids, they're adults now, but, you know, we had, they were teenagers at the time. It's just very hard to manage, you know, looking after my family the way I wanted to.
Treatments Eyvonne Tried Before ANS REWIRE
Treatments I tried, I tried, yes, I tried the hyperbaric chamber treatment. it's a hundred percent oxygen.
You go into a kind of deep compression, machine, I suppose, for all the, what's the word? But, that worked to give me more energy, but it kind of worked like a plaster, that you know, you would do 10 sessions, and after 10 sessions, then, you know, I would get, I would have an improved, I suppose there'd be an improvement in my symptoms, but, you know, after I had stopped, they would go back down, so for me, that, you know, that didn't work.
I went to a neurologist at the very start of my illness, and she, because pressure, head pressure. was a really big thing and it actually stopped me from sleeping. So I, I, I got to go to a neurologist first and she, put me on, a drug called amitriptyline. yeah, it was just a maze. It's just that that didn't seem to work.
I went to, because of the POTS, the chest pain, and, and, because of the chest pain, I went to, a cardiologist, and he diagnosed POTS. So I kind of was, then I, I, I, the long COVID clinic, I was, I saw a psychologist, and I had a little bit of OT as well. so all of those things really were things that I would have tried.
Then diet and exercise, I was, you know, trying at various stages of the, the road, like, you know, I would have had, had improvements through, all these various things, I suppose, just trying to manage my fatigue and trying to, you know, do graded exercise alongside healthy diet.
Bringing the Pieces Together with ANS REWIRE
But it was only until I really came across the program that I, I suppose that all of the, the , things came together, like, you know, the mindfulness, you know, going through the program, giving up, giving in to the program really is what, helped me, come to where I am today.
My final message to, to people would be just to believe you can do it, because I think mindset is everything, and I know and by believing you can do it, you're a little step of the way, and just try it, do it, because it will change your life.
